My channel features important xenharmonic ear training videos. As an aural skills teacher, I teach people how to strengthen their relative pitch through repetition and practice. In this regard, xenharmonics is no different than 12-equal. The microtones and structural differences simply take a little more time to understand and internalize, if you're not used to them. Thus, I've developed sets of unique strategies for the purposes of approaching training from a 12-equal understanding. This does not just mean dividing 12 into further parts, though that's a very helpful strategy, and is in fact taught by the Boston Microtonal Society. I teach systems that do not have much common ground with 12, so that I can contribute something new to the discipline (24-EDO is well documented).
